There are two types of alarms: a daily alarm that sounds every day at a set time, and a single alarm that sounds only once at a set time. You can switch between setting and turning off alarms.
Names of the buttons and their functions
Turn the rotating bezel and align “DAILY AL.” or “SINGLE AL.” with the mode indicator mark () to switch to Alarm mode. The upper row displays the “alarm time,” and the lower row displays the “current time.”

How to use the alarm

Turn the rotating bezel to align “DAILY AL.” or “SINGLE AL.” with the mode indicator mark (
).

Press Button
to proceed through the order shown below and select the desired location (blinking).

After selecting the desired location by pressing Button
, each press of Button
advances the blinking number by one.

Press Button
to return to “alarm display.”
If the “time/calendar display” is set to the 12-hour system, the “hours” and “A” (AM) or “P” (PM) will be displayed and blinking. When set to the 24-hour system, only the “hours” is displayed and blinks.

If the flashing display is left on for 15 seconds, it will automatically stop flashing and return to “alarm display.”
When set to “alarm display”, an alarm is automatically set and an alarm mark ( or
) is displayed.
Engagement/disengagement of the alarm
Each time Button is pressed in “alarm display,” the alarm can be set or turned off.
When the alarm is set, the alarm mark ( or
) lights up.
When the alarm has been set, the alarm mark ( or
) will be displayed in all modes.

Stopping an activated alarm
The alarm rings at the designated time for 20 seconds.
To stop it manually, press any of the buttons, or turn the rotating bezel to change the mode to another.
For single alarm, the alarm mark () goes off when the alarm stops sounding.
If you want the alarm to ring at the same time, press Button in single alarm mode to set the alarm.
