California Consumer Privacy Act Disclosures

In these California Consumer Privacy Act Disclosures (“CCPA Disclosures”), we, Seiko Watch Corporation (“SEIKO”), describe our personal information processing practices and California residents’ rights as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CCPA”). These CCPA Disclosures are addressed to California residents only and were last updated January 28, 2026. These CCPA Disclosures do not reflect our collection, use or disclosure of California residents’ personal information where an exception under the CCPA applies. This CCPA Disclosures supplement our Web Site Privacy Policy (“Policy”) and prevail over any conflicting provisions in the Policy.

  • to (i) sell SEIKO’s products and services to potential and existing customers, (ii) bill customers for SEIKO’s products and services they have requested, (iii) deliver SEIKO’s products and services to consumers, (iv) implement online membership services, and (v) perform Seiko’s obligations under a contract to which consumers are a party.
  • to (i) provide potential and existing customers with promotional information on SEIKO’s products and services, (ii) carry out promotional activities to potential and existing customers, (iii) analyze potential and existing customers’ interests to improve SEIKO’s products and services.
  • to personalize potential and existing customers' website experience and to deliver content and product and service offerings relevant to the their interests, including targeted offers and ads through our website.
  • to provide potential and existing customers with support and to respond to their inquiries.
  • to improve our website and services.
  • to help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our website, products and services, databases and other technology assets, and business.
  • to arrange media personnel's and customers’ visit to our manufacturing sites.
  • to comply with and enforce our rights and perform our obligations under applicable laws.

2. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information to third parties but share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Retention

We generally retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the specific business purpose or purposes for which it was collected and the duration of your use of our websites. In some cases, we may be required to retain information for a longer period of time based on laws or regulations that apply to our business. Where possible, we aim to anonymize the information or remove unnecessary identifiers from records that we may need to keep for periods beyond the original retention period. Once personal information is no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize it as soon as possible.

We provide below additional disclosures about California residents’ rights under the CCPA and our personal information processing practices in the preceding 12 months. This CCPA Privacy Policy describes personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, and share about California residents.

We collected the personal information directly from you and your device. We collected the personal information for the business or commercial purposes listed in Section I above.

No Sale of Personal Information

In the preceding 12 months, we have not sold California residents’ personal information. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell the personal information of minors under 16 years of age. You have the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information by a business but we do not sell your personal information.

Sharing of Personal Information

We have set out below the categories of personal information that we have shared for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding 12 months and the categories of the categories of third parties with whom we have shared such personal information in the preceding 12 months. We do not have actual knowledge that we share the personal information of minors under 16 years of age for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified in the CCPA. You have the right to limit the use or disclosure of your sensitive personal information to certain purposes by a business but we do not use or disclose your sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified in the CCPA.

4. Your Rights and Requests

Right to Know About Personal Information Collected, Disclosed, Sold, or Shared

You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell and share about you specifically (“right to know”). To submit a request to exercise the right to know, please call our toll-free phone number 888-348-3111 or submit an email request to privacy@seiko-watch.co.jp and include “California Request to Know” in the subject line. Please specify in your request the details you would like to know, including any specific pieces of personal information you would like to access.

We will ask that you provide certain information to verify your identity, such as a code sent to an email address we may have on file for you. If you have a password-protected account with us, we may verify your identity through our existing authentication practices for your account. The information that we ask you to provide to verify your identity will depend on your prior interactions with us and the sensitivity of the personal information at issue. We will respond to your request in accordance with the CCPA. If we deny requests, we will explain why.

Right to Request Deletion of Personal Information

You have a right to request the deletion of personal information that we collected from you. To submit a request to delete personal information, please call our toll-free phone 888-348-3111 or submit an email request to privacy@seiko-watch.co.jp and include “California Request to Delete” in the subject line. Please specify in your request the personal information about you that you would like to have deleted, which can be all of the personal information we have collected from you as required by the CCPA.

We will ask that you provide certain information to verify your identity, such as a code sent to an email address we may have on file for you. If you have a password-protected account with us, we may verify your identity through our existing authentication practices for your account. The information that we ask you to provide to verify your identity will depend on your prior interactions with us and the sensitivity of the personal information at issue. Once confirmed, we will respond to your request in accordance with the CCPA. If we deny your request, we will explain why.

Right to Request Correction of Personal Information

You have a right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you. To submit a request to correct personal information, please call our toll-free phone number 888-348-3111 or submit an email request to pivacy@seiko.co.jp and include “California Request to Correct” in the subject line. Please specify in your request the personal information about you that you would like to have corrected.

We will ask that you provide certain information to verify your identity, such as a code sent to an email address we may have on file for you. If you have a password-protected account with us, we may verify your identity through our existing authentication practices for your account. The information that we ask you to provide to verify your identity will depend on your prior interactions with us and the sensitivity of the personal information at issue. Once confirmed, we will respond to your request in accordance with the CCPA. If we deny your request, we will explain why.

Right to Opt-Out of Sharing of Personal Information

Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of CCPA Rights

You may not be discriminated against because you exercise any of your rights under the CCPA.

5. Authorized Agent

You can designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf if:

  • The authorized agent is a natural person or a business entity registered with the Secretary of State of California; and
  • You sign a written declaration that you authorize the authorized agent to act on your behalf.

If you use an authorized agent to submit a request to exercise your right to know, your right to request deletion, or your right to request correction, please have the authorized agent take the following steps in addition to the steps described in Section 4 above:

  • Mail a notarized copy of your written declaration authorizing the authorized agent to act on your behalf to 26-1, Ginza 1-chome, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-8118, Japan. We will reimburse you for the costs of notarizing the declaration and mailing it to us if you provide a receipt showing the costs paid and they are reasonable; and
  • Provide any information we request in our response to your email to verify your identity and that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit a request under the CCPA on your behalf. The information that we ask you to provide to verify your identity will depend on your prior interactions with us and the sensitivity of the personal information at issue.

If you provide an authorized agent with power of attorney pursuant to Probate Code sections 4000 to 4465, it may not be necessary to perform these steps and we will respond to any request from such authorized agent in accordance with the CCPA.
