How to conduct manual reception (Receive a radio signal manually)

  1. Place the watch.

  2. Place the watch where it can easily receive a radio signal.

    The antenna is embedded at the 9 o’clock position of the watch. Turning the antenna toward the outside of a window helps improve radio signal reception.

  3. Reset the stopwatch and check the selected time zone.

  4. If the stopwatch hands are not reset to the 0-position, it is not possible to set the time zone (the small seconds hand does not stop).

  5. Continue to press and hold Button B for 3 seconds, and then release it when the small seconds hand moves to the 0-second position.

  6. Reception starts after the small seconds hand moves and stops at the 0-second position.

    If the small seconds hand does not stop at the 0-second position, manual reception cannot be conducted. Re-attempt the operation from procedure 2.

  7. Place the watch and wait for a few minutes (max. 12 minutes).

  8. When the seconds hand moves at the one-second interval, the reception is finished.

    It takes time to receive a radio signal (max. 12 minutes).

    The required time varies depending on the receiving state of a radio signal.

The small seconds hand points to “N” for the reception result.

If reception has failed: The seconds hand points to N

  1. When the small seconds hand moves at one-second intervals, check that reception is successful.

  2. When the reception is finished, check that the reception is successful.

    How to display the reception results

    During movement of the date, neither the button nor the crown can be operated.
