Created in 2022 as an exhibition model under the theme of “REBIRTH."
The new creation is inspired by the 1984 Tisse model, which gained wide acclaim in Japan. The Tisse featured a delicate bracelet designed to be worn loosely, like an accessory. This “loose fit” style proposed a new way of wearing watches and offered a fresh perspective on their role.
In 2022, as part of the power design project, the original model—once released as a women’s watch—was reimagined to transcend the traditional ladies’ watch design, embracing a broad range of tastes and preferences to create a watch that everyone could wear.
And in 2025, it will be launched as a new collection.
Wear It Like an Accessory—Your Own Way
Small watches have traditionally been associated with femininity, shaped by long-standing conventions.
This model reimagines that notion by altering the size and shape of the links and integrating the case seamlessly into the bracelet, resulting in a design that can be worn like an accessory.
It embodies a desire to go beyond conventional categories such as “men’s” or “women’s,” and instead expresses the pure joy a timepiece can bring to the wearer.
The relaxed fit of this style echoes the original model’s proposal of wearing a watch with the feel of an accessory. It also resonates with today’s fashion trends—offering liberation from constraint and a truly comfortable wearing experience.
An Asymmetrical Bracelet That Symbolizes “Multiplicity”
The design reflects a modern mindset—one that embraces the ability to express different versions of oneself across both real and virtual worlds.
Based on the idea that every facet, every unique glow, represents a part of one’s individuality, the bracelet features an asymmetrical form: the 12 o’clock side, visible to others, and the 6 o’clock side, visible to the wearer, are intentionally shaped differently to offer distinct impressions from different angles.
To further highlight this concept, a single faceted link can be seen gleaming at the most visible point when worn—expressing the inner brilliance of the person who wears it.
