Behind the Design
Practical, purpose-driven details—yet seamlessly at home in everyday style.
The key lies in its carefully reconsidered proportions.

What is the Field series?
Rooted in practicality for both outdoor leisure and everyday use-the Field series.
With a 24-hour dial that balances durability, legibility, and functionality, along with a clean, refined design free from excess, it proves to be a reliable companion even in outdoor settings. -

A field watch,
reimagined for town use.Inheriting signature field watch elements such as a prominent crown and highly legible Arabic numerals, the SRPG35 has been resized to a mid-size 39.4 mm case.
Designed with comfort in mind, its carefully considered proportions offer versatility that seamlessly bridges city life and the outdoors.
The lightweight nylon strap further enhances its easy, agile wear. -

Practical, purposeful design details.
The hour markers feature an original typeface based on Arabic numerals—long valued for their excellent legibility—designed specifically for watch dials.
The philosophy that “Arabic numerals used to display time should be easy to read” continues to be carried forward today.
A closer look reveals that these markers are actually three-dimensional, created through an embossing process that raises the numerals from the reverse side of the dial.
This detail strikes a balance between the rugged character of a field watch and a subtle sense of refinement. -

An interchangeable nylon strap.
Rather than a conventional two-piece construction, the nylon strap features a pass-through design that runs beneath the case.
Its lightweight feel ensures comfortable wear, while the simple structure allows for quick and easy strap changes to suit personal preferences.
ARCHIVE
-
SNZG13 — the inspiration behind today's model.
-
SRPG35 — the contemporary expression of the Field series.
A design carried forward from the archive to the present.
The archive model that informs the current design first appeared in 2008, at a time when bold, oversized watches were gaining attention.
Originally introduced with a case over 40 mm—an uncommon size for field watches—the design returned to its roots in 2021 with a more standard 39.4 mm profile.
Along with the revised proportions, the dial, indexes, and hands were updated to enhance legibility, making the time easy to read at a glance, from everyday wear to outdoor use.
