How to use the simplified world time function (Only for models with the simplified world time function)

By using the names of major world cities shown on the rotating bezel and the 24-hour display on the dials, the approximate time in each city can be read.

This is only a simplified world time function, and should not be used where accuracy is critical.

Example: When in Tokyo and wanting to know the time in Paris

  1. Check the current time in Tokyo. (In this case, the time is 14:00 [2:00 p.m.].)

  2. Set the rotating bezel to align “TOKYO” with the 14 indicator.

  3. Check to see what time “PARIS” aligns with on the rotating bezel.
(In this case, it aligns with 6, and therefore it is 6:00 a.m. in Paris.)

Time in other cities may be read in a similar way.
For example, the time in Los Angeles can be read as 21:00 (9:00 p.m.).
