Exquisite Exterior Finishing

A signature finish that
embodies King Seiko’s essence

The revived King Seiko “KSK,” brought back to life with modern technology, showcases the advanced manufacturing expertise cultivated through Seiko’s long history of watchmaking.
Its exterior is defined by beautiful reflections of light achieved through the meticulous polishing of stainless steel.
Here, we introduce the uncompromising quality of its exterior — refined to evoke a sense of elegance in every glance.

CASE

Four evenly polished lugs
with beautiful ridgelines

The four lugs feature a brushed finish on the top surfaces, while the angled and side surfaces are polished to a mirror finish.
They are designed to capture light from a variety of angles.
Achieving a balanced polish on each surface requires precision finishing techniques. The ridgelines accentuate the silhouette and embody the refined elegance of King Seiko.

DIAL

Brilliantly cut index
at 12 o’clock

The 12 o’clock index is more than twice the width of the others and has a patterned texture specially crafted to ensure high legibility. It endows the dial with a bright sparkle that invites the eye.
This is an iconic feature inspired by the 1965 KSK.
It’s a design that adds brilliance and character to the simple elegance of King Seiko.

Subtle textural details
on the hands

The hour and minute hands reflect King Seiko’s meticulous attention to detail. Though they appear simple at first glance, they reveal subtle shifts in expression depending on the angle of light and perspective, showcasing a finely calculated design.
The sharply tapered hour and minute hands are crafted with a three-faceted design. This allows them to catch light easily, ensuring excellent legibility even in the dark. This intricate design is reserved exclusively for models equipped with the Caliber 6L35.
In fleeting moments — such as entering a tunnel while driving or glancing at your watch in a dark theater — the hands catch the light with a subtle glimmer. This refined brilliance extends to the indexes, case, and lugs, revealing the true mastery of King Seiko.

SIDE

A slim, classic case
with enhanced wearability

When viewed from the side, the case reveals a retro curved box glass that evokes a classic atmosphere. For durability, it uses sapphire crystal, which is highly resistant to scratches.
Some models in the KSK series are equipped with Seiko’s thinnest mechanical movement, Caliber 6L35. By refining both the case structure and the crystal, these watches are made 0.2mm thinner than the original second-generation, hand-wound King Seiko “KSK.” This slimness enhances practicality, allowing them to slide easily under a shirt cuff — ideal when wearing a suit.

CASE BACK

The new King Seiko emblem
is engraved on the crown and case back

King Seiko, as its name suggests, is inspired by a “king.”
As a symbol of this concept, a shield-shaped brand mark is engraved on both the crown and the case back.
This emblem inherits the iconic silhouette of the 1965 KSK while evolving into a flatter, more modern expression.

BRACELET

Multilink bracelet
with accessory-like presence

A wristwatch serves not only as a timekeeping instrument but also as a reflection of the wearer’s discerning taste and lifestyle. Drawing inspiration from designs of the 1970s, the multi-linked bracelet is meticulously crafted from solid stainless steel, imparting the presence of a refined accessory. Its construction also ensures exceptional comfort and wearability over extended periods.

King Seiko relentlessly pursues precision, and through its meticulously crafted exterior design, it captures not only the accuracy of time but also the fleeting sparkle of each moment pursuing the true essence of a wristwatch.
