On July 30, 2026, “King Seiko Presents ‘Seiko Summer Jazz Camp All Stars’” was held at Dizzy’s Club, located within Jazz at Lincoln Centre in New York, offering breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline.
The event brought together top artists who serve as instructors for the Seiko Summer Jazz Camp. Against the backdrop of New York’s stunning nightscape, they delivered exceptional performances in the club’s sophisticated setting, creating a memorable evening for all guests.
“Seiko Summer Jazz Camp” was launched in 2016 with the aim of nurturing the next generation of young Japanese jazz musicians. Since its inception, the program has helped cultivate numerous talented musicians who are now shaping the future of Japan’s jazz scene.
King Seiko’s philosophy, “The Newest Classic,” represents a commitment to continually evolving while pursuing the essence of watchmaking. This philosophy deeply resonates with the spirit of jazz, which has continuously embraced new forms of expression while honouring its rich traditions.
United by these shared values, King Seiko supports the vision of “Seiko Summer Jazz Camp” and co-hosted this special live performance. Moving forward, King Seiko will continue to support the development of young talent who will shape the future of jazz, together with “Seiko Summer Jazz Camp.”
Guests enjoyed exclusive King Seiko content throughout the evening. As dinner service began, the venue took on a warm and relaxed atmosphere, and the special evening unfolded in the sophisticated setting of one of New York’s iconic jazz clubs.

A special discussion was held with Mark Bernardo, Director of Editorial Content at Teddy Baldassarre, and Dave Wieczorek of Seiko Watch of America. The discussion explored King Seiko’s design philosophy, its heritage, and what makes the collection so compelling today.
“When reviving a product, brands can sometimes stray too far from the original, or go too far in simply recreating it. King Seiko, however, has achieved that delicate balance beautifully. It honours its heritage while continuing to create watches that appeal to people today and feel right for the modern era,” said Mark Bernardo of Teddy Baldassarre.
Jazz pianist Dan Nimmer and an ensemble of world-class musicians delivered a captivating performance, creating an electrifying atmosphere unique to Dizzy’s Club. The artists’ exceptional musicianship and expressive performances captivated the audience, filling the room with enthusiastic applause.

One of Dan Nimmer’s signature original compositions, “Lu’s Bounce,” showcased his sophisticated piano work alongside a dynamic, energetic ensemble. The free-flowing improvisation characteristic of jazz, combined with the musicians’ seamless interplay, created an irresistible groove that captivated the audience and became one of the evening’s most memorable performances.

It was a truly special evening where the timeless values cherished by King Seiko resonated with the free and creative spirit of jazz. King Seiko will continue to create experiences that inspire people to savour and enjoy meaningful moments through its timepieces.
