30th March 2023 Seiko Watch India hosts a digital waste disposal day for sustainable e-waste management.
On March 30th, 2023, Seiko Watch India hosted a digital waste disposal day at its office and warehouse. Employees contributed various digital items from their workstations and homes for proper disposal, including printers, laptops, LCD monitors, CPUs, telephones, radios, hard disks, and other miscellaneous items. All collected waste was disposed of by a registered and government-certified e-waste vendor in Bangalore. The vendor issued a "Certificate of E-Waste Recycling" to Seiko Watch India.
14th December 2022 Children and Volunteers Join Forces for Tree Planting Initiative
In today's fast-paced world, the simple act of connecting with nature has become increasingly rare, but a group of volunteers and children were able to do just that. They came together for a good cause and spent valuable time in each other's company, fostering a sense of teamwork.
The school authorities were delighted to see the newly-planted flora on their premises, which the children and volunteers had lovingly tended to. The group learned important lessons about helping one another and working as a team. The children also discovered a newfound love for painting plastic bottles and showcased their artistic skills.
Seiko Watch India Serves Mid-Day Meals for Visually Impaired Children
Seiko Watches India (SWI) recently participated in a noble cause by contributing to a mid-day meal program for visually impaired children. The employees of Seiko India went above and beyond by physically serving these children, ensuring they had a fulfilling meal. This initiative was particularly important as the children were visually impaired and is a part of SWI's ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on society.
The Sri Rakum School for the Blind provides free education, lodging, and boarding to visually impaired and underprivileged children. The Mid-Day Meal Scheme is one of the many initiatives undertaken by the school to ensure a healthy and nourishing environment for students.
Boosting Employee Engagement with Fun-filled Activities
Seiko Watch India is committed to keeping its employees engaged and motivated, and to that end, they organize various programs from time to time. Sports Day, which featured cricket, badminton, and other exciting activities, was a particular hit with the employees. The company also hosted a Family Day and a Secret Santa event, which were well attended by both local and outstation staff. Everyone who participated in these events showed tremendous enthusiasm, and it was clear that they found them to be both rejuvenating and entertaining.

Seiko Watch India's Secret Santa event was a festive affair with employees eagerly spreading joy and cheer amongst each other. It was heartwarming to witness the enthusiasm and creativity displayed by everyone as they carefully selected gifts for their designated "Secret Santa" recipient. It was truly an unforgettable experience and brought in the spirit of the holiday season.
Promoting Holistic Development for Underprivileged Children
Pragati, an organisation dedicated to providing quality education to underprivileged children in Gurgaon, recently held its Annual Sports Day after a three-year hiatus. The event saw 330 students from three government primary schools come together to showcase their sportsmanship and teamwork. Seiko India, aligned with SDG 4, provided caps to shield the children from the scorching sun and made the day fun-filled with obstacle races, relays, and awards. The event emphasised the crucial role of sports in a child's holistic development, and Seiko India was thanked for their sponsorship and support.
