Powerful Brilliance,
Lightweight Comfort.

In 1972, King Seiko, characterized by its classic wristwatch shapes, launched the VANAC series, with its bright colours and innovative, multifaceted designs.
Today, a new VANAC inherits the spirit that infused the original, opening up new possibilities for King Seiko.

DESIGN

The new VANAC design is inspired by the
“Tokyo Horizon”.
It calls to mind the vast horizon that stretches
across Tokyo—the birthplace of King Seiko.
By layering radial patterns extending from the
centre with horizontal motifs, this design
expresses the exhilarating sensation of racing
along Tokyo’s highways toward an ever-
continuing horizon.

CASE

Powerful Brilliance, Lightweight Wearability

The case and bracelet are crafted from titanium—approximately 40% lighter than stainless steel—delivering exceptional comfort even during extended wear. While preserving a refined grey tone, the contrast between expansive mirror-polished surfaces and finely executed brushed finishing creates a powerful brilliance and sophisticated presence in any kind of light.

DIAL

A Highly Legible Dial
Expressing the Tokyo Horizon

Inspired by the bezel design of the original VANAC from the 1970s, the index ring features three-dimensional minute markers. Lumibrite is applied to the hour markers and hands to ensure superior legibility in low-light conditions. In addition, a “V” motif is incorporated into the 12 o’clock index and the counterweight of the seconds hand, accentuating the VANAC’s distinctive identity.
Through its converging radial and horizontal sections, the dial transports the wearer to the heart of Tokyo. With every passing second, one can sense the speed and excitement of the modern metropolis and the beauty of its expansive horizon.

and the hurtling speed of moving through Tokyo at night.
