Here you see our flagship model for 2012. It is a new version of the high beat 36000 caliber 9S85 which we introduced two years ago, with a rose gold case.
We all know that the higher the frequency, the more accurate the watch if all the other conditions remain the same. You may feel this rather intuitively when you hear the clear difference of rhythm between 8 beat and 10 beat calibers, that is to say, 28,800 per hour and 36000 per hour. So, theory says high beat is more advantageous for accuracy. The question is therefore a simple one, “Why do more companies not make a high-beat watch?” And the answer is also simple. It’s very, very difficult!
