To preserve the enchanting purity of the traditional wind bell sound, SEIKO Epson's Micro Artist Studio created an ingenious silent governor which uses the viscosity of air to control the speed of the striking gongs. Its blades open as it starts to turn and are visible through the front crystal, spinning silently and delivering power to the striking mechanism.
